It is uncomfortable to be a Christian in this fallen world. The Bible says in John 15:18 that the world will hate us if we love the Father because the world hated Jesus first. According to Matthew 16:24, to follow Christ, we must deny ourselves, carry our cross, and fight our fleshly desires daily. If this does not make us uncomfortable, we might have a red flag in our walk of faith.
