This unique tree was originally designed for specialty stores to display delicate ornaments while using a minimum amount of floor space. They drew inspiration from a Central European tradition from the 12th century where people hung trees from the ceiling during Christmas. An upside-down tree has many benefits today. The tapered shape allows it to be placed in spots that usually wouldn't accommodate a traditional holiday tree such as between two armchairs.
