This did not work for me. Was uncured after 6 days. I tried another batch and it didn't cure either.  I think I just got a bad batch of this product. The catalyst for making the rubber harden was clumpy, even after shaking.  I contacted the company about this and they said it was probably too old. It has a shelf life of about a year. They would not replace it since I did not buy directly from them. I tried their other mold-making product and it worked fine.

Works well. We made some dice molds with it. We used a vacuum chamber and pressure pot; and the mold are perfect! It has a long work time and is very fine liquid so works well for the small details.

This stuff is great when it works, and not when it doesn't.  If the material was sitting around in a warehouse, the store, or your house for a period of time, the material can take days instead of hours to set up when molding something.

Purchased this product and should have known I would be in trouble using it when the “base” part seemed to have leaked into the box and some cups already. However, I proceeded with using it and ran into problem #2 - the “catalyst” was partly solidified/gelled up. Yet again, I proceeded to mix the full batch together and poured into my containers to make molds. Over 12 hours later, and it has not solidified at all or formed a film over the top. Now I am left to figure out how to clean up my pieces I want to make a mold of so I can retry the process with a different product. Definitely look at another product and skip pver this one…

Online it says 3 to 4 hours before demolding. it's been 6 for mine, and it's still not solidified. I noticed the bottle had gel like chunks in it and it was half clumpy, half liquid.

Purchased one of these kits yesterday. Used as per instructions (one scoop of the pink stuff, to 2 cups of the silicone). Wasn't sure if I needed to use it all at 1st, so was mixed in 2 batches. 2nd batch, I realized the pink stuff had gloopy crystals in the bottom (even after mixing really well). Want sure if this was normal, so I carried on. Now over 12 hours later, my silicone hasn't hardened.

This product works great for creating a mold and casting blanks.   

The kit does not come with mixing equipment - stirrers and squeegee must be provided separately.   Rubber gloves are also recommended.  Clean up can be a tad messy.
Recommend working on a wax paper or sacrificial surface.

After making a mold for the first time, subsequent ones will be easier.

Some creativity must be done to suspend the blank in the casting material while the casting agent cures.  Again, it is a learning process.

I have been happy with every mold I have created.

The Rubber mold mixes and sets to perfect consistency. You can add colorant to it if you like. I added torques.I used tin foil for mold tray. When it wasn’t quite dry on the emerald side I set it out in the sun and it went from liquid to rubber, it continued to cure to a perfect silicone mold. I highly recommend this product. When casting try turning your item upside down the. On its side or right side up, to think logically about how it would cast. I find turning figurines upside down is the trick to success.
