Crafted from a precision blend of top-quality, cold-rolled steel, these hinges feature a stunning, corrosion-resistant finish and are superior in tolerance, concentricity, and straightness. Spring hinges are used to convert a standard door into a self-closing door, such as a residential entry or the door separating a house and garage. A spring mechanism loaded in the barrel allows the hinge to automatically close a door. These are approved for use on fire-rated doors and meet ANSI/BHMA standards. These are also ideal to keep bedroom or bathroom doors in a closed position for convenience and aesthetics. Use a single or multiple spring hinges on each door (along with one or more standard hinges as needed), depending on the door weight and the spring tension desired. With easily adjustable closing power, these are ideal for any type of door; interior or exterior, solid or hollow, light, medium or heavy weight, wood, fiberglass and metal doors. These are suitable for residential and commercial use (check any local building codes as needed).  Each hinge is UL Listed, meeting the requirements for UL's published and nationally recognized standards for safety.   Each hinge leaf is 4 inches in height (common residential size) and is pre-drilled with four countersunk holes arranged in a half moon shape.  Eight No. 9 - 1" wood mounting screws are included per hinge for fast and easy installation. A tension adjustment tool and instructions are also included. Hinges have approximately a 270-degree range of motion.
