Kids Creative Hoop Earrings

Remove stopper from hoops and set aside.

Carefully open the loop at the top of your pom-pom (or tassel) charms and remove the clasp. Close the loop.
TIP: If you have chosen another charm and it has a clasp on a jump ring, open the jump ring, remove the clasp and close the jump ring. To open and close a jump ring, simply grasp the jump ring on both sides with chain nose pliers and twist the ring open, from side-to-side. Never pull the jump ring which can cause distortion.

Slide beads and/or charms onto your hoops and close the hoops.

To make the pearl drop, cut a 4" [10.2 cm] piece of stretchy cord. Then:
- Fold the cord in half and place a closed jump ring over the fold. Grab the ends of the cord, bring them up and over your jump ring, then through the fold of the cord. Pull and tighten the knot.
- Thread the ends of the cord through a pearl bead and push the bead up the cord until it is flush against the jump ring.
- Now, tie the ends to the top loop of a pom-pom charm so it is as close as you can get it to the bottom of the pom-pom charm.
- Thread the ends back through the pearl bead. Use a toothpick to add a dab of glue to the knot and let dry. Trim excess cord.
- Slide the jump ring at the top of your pearl drop onto your hoop earring.

For the dangle pom-poms:
- Cut a 3" [7.6 cm] section of chain. Set aside.
- Carefully open the loop at the top of two pom-pom charms, add one end of a chain section to the loop at the top of one pom-pom charm and add the other end of the same chain to a second pom-pom charm. Close the loops.
- Slide your earring hoop through a link in the chain section so the pom-pom charms hang unevenly from the hoop.

Close your hoop earring and return the stopper.

Repeat for a second earring.
