Project Note: This lapghan is crocheted using the very simple V-stitch (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) over and over. Just work each V-stitch in the ch-1 sp of the V-stitch directly below.
Step 1 Ch 47 and turn.
Row 1: In the fifth ch from your hook, (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc). *Sk the next 2 ch. (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in the following ch. Rep from * to the final 3 ch in the row. Sk the next 2 ch, and make 1 dc in the final ch in the row. Ch 3 and turn.
Row 2: *(1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in the ch-1 sp of the previous row’s next V-stitch. Sk the next two st. Rep from * until you reach the end of the row. Dc in the final st in the row. Ch 3 and turn.
Rows 3–38: Rep Row 2.
Finishing: Knot off your yarn, trim away any excess, and weave in the yarn tails.
