Take three sparkle pipe cleaners and twist the ends together so you have one long sparkle pipe cleaner.

Thread one pony bead onto the long sparkle pipe cleaner and move it so it is in the middle.

Add three pony beads onto one side of the long sparkle pipe cleaner. Now, push the end on the other side of the long sparkle pipe cleaner through the same three beads in the opposite direction. Pull the ends so the three beads lay on top of the one bead added in Step 2.

Repeat Step 3 with five beads.

Repeat Step 3 with seven beads.

#@#

Repeat Step 3 with eight beads three times.

Repeat Step 3 with seven beads to start decreasing the shape.

Repeat Step 3 again with five beads.

Repeat Step 3 with three beads.

Twist the ends together and tuck into the three beads at the top of your ornament. Trim any excess.

Cut an 8" [18 cm] piece of floss and tie to either side of the pony beads on the top row. Add a dab of glue to the knot, let dry, then trim excess floss.

To make the small tassel, cut a 5" [12.7 cm] length of floss and set aside.

Wrap floss from the skein, loosely, around three fingers about 15 times. Cut floss from skein. Carefully slide the loops from your fingers so your loops are intact. Thread the end of the 5" [12.7 cm] piece of floss between the loops and tie a double knot at the top. Do not cut the tail.

Slide a pony bead on tails and let it sit at the top of the loops. Slide one of the tails through the bead at the bottom of your ornament, arrange it so it is below your ornament; then tie a knot with the tails of your tassel to attach closely to the bottom. Your tassel should hange from the bottom of your ornament.

Now, thread the tails through the pony bead that is sitting on top of your loops so the are hanging with the loops. Slide the pony bead down just a little past the knot you tied at the top of your tassel in Step 13.

Finally, cut open the loops at the bottom of your tassel and trim across the bottom so your tassel is even.
